The text often contains bold sans serif fonts.
These simple shapes and colours is used by many other modern design philosophies to portray ease of use and pleasing/relaxing design.
Bauhaus has a colour scheme of simplistic primary or secondary colours with very little variation. There are only 3 shades of each with there being 12 colours in total. The design language also seems to follow complimentary colour scheme rules adding contrast
